Cathedral Safeguarding Officer
Christ Church, the Cathedral for the Diocese of Oxford and a college of the University of Oxford, is seeking to appoint a Cathedral Safeguarding Officer for a fixed period of two years.
The Safeguarding Officer will lead on all aspects of safeguarding at Christ Church Cathedral. Promoting culture change, raising awareness throughout the Cathedral community of staff, volunteers and worshippers of potential risks to children and vulnerable adults and ensuring their welfare and protection is paramount. The post-holder will have an ability to provide clear leadership across the organisation regarding the development of good safeguarding practice and healthy culture.

University Scale Grade 8 £45,585 – £54,395 (with a discretionary range up to £59,421) per annum.
