Academic background
I was educated at University College London (BSc) and Balliol College, Oxford (DPhil). I then became a Research Fellow at St John’s College, Cambridge, after which I was a Roya Society Travelling Research Fellow at Stanford University. I was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of California, Berkeley, and an Early Career Research Fellow at the Department of Physiology, Anatomy and Genetics (DPAG), University of Oxford.
Undergraduate teaching
I teach Pre-Clinical Medicine.
Research interests
My research focuses on information encoding in the brain. We integrate studies on learning and memory in the hippocampus with research into information processing in the sensory cortices.
