Stipendiary Lecturership in Modern European History
Christ Church invites applications for a fixed-term Stipendiary Lectureship in Modern European History. This is a temporary, fixed-term position to fulfil a current teaching need arising from Dr Katherine Lebow’s sabbatical during the calendar year 2025, therefore, the appointment carries with it no expectation of permanent employment at Christ Church.
The successful candidate will deliver five hours of tutorial teaching per week, averaged over the three eight-week terms of each academic year. In addition to teaching duties, the Lecturer will be expected to act as a Personal Tutor for ca. 12 first-year undergraduates, and coordinate, set and mark College term exams (Collections).
For more information, including how to apply, please see the attached Further Particulars.
