We are delighted to be participating in Oxford Open Doors in partnership with the Oxford Preservation Trust. 

Christ Church will be open on Saturday 14 September for self-guided visits between 10.00 - 17.00 (last entry available at 15.30). Book tickets online in advance to guarantee entry (see 'How to Book' section below for details).

 

Trails and Tours 

The College and Gardens: The Hall, Quads and Gardens will be open for self-guided visits.

Guided tours of the Cathedral lasting 30 minutes are available on the hour between 10.00 - 15.00 (Advance booking not available. Please book a general admission timeslot on our booking system. Places will be offered on a first come first served basis).

Specialist guided tours on the architecture or stained glass windows in the Cathedral will be taking place at 9.15/9.20 & 14.45/14.50. Places for these tours must be booked in advance. Please select the appropriate time and tour on our booking system. 

The Picture Gallery: Self-guided visits from 11.00 – 17.00 (last entry 16.30). Some queuing may occur as there is a limited capacity.

The Library: Self-guided visits from 10.00 - 17.00 (last entry 16.30). Some queuing may occur as there is a limited capacity.

A Childrens' Trail is available from any of the information points. 


 

Recitals and Services

Prayers will be said on the hour between 11.00 and 15.00.

How to Book

To guarantee entry please book your tickets online in advance here

Additional tickets may be available on the door on the day space permitting.

A maximum of 6 tickets may be booked per person.

We are not open for commercial groups to visit on this day. 

Guiding on site is not permitted.
