Location

The Liddell Building (1991) is situated in a quiet location in East Oxford, approximately a five-minute walk from amenities and a fifteen-minute walk from Christ Church. Check-in at the Porters’ Lodge, located behind the gated entrance. The lodge reception is staffed 24 hours a day. For details about how to find the Liddell Building see our Find us page.

Christ Church including the Liddell Building can only accommodate adults (aged 18 and over). This includes babies/children sharing a room with adults. If such a booking is made you will be asked to cancel it, and the refund amount will be in line with T&Cs, or if you arrive at the property you will be refused entry and no refund will be given.

Food and drink

The accommodation is self-catering; each flat has a shared kitchen with a dining space.

Breakfast tickets (mid-August to the end of September – subject to availability):

Purchase a ticket at the time of booking to experience breakfast in the unique setting of the Great Hall, Christ Church, with its stunning hammer-beam roof and wonderful oil paintings.

Monday–Saturday: 7.30–9am

Sunday: 8–9.30am

Grounds and gardens

The Liddell Building is built around a beautiful lawn and adjoins the University sports ground. In nice weather, it is possible to have picnics on the grounds (please note: no ball games are to be played).
